The Twitterati are masters at gaining followers, driving conversation, and assimilating the tsunami of commentary and links that stream to them on a daily basis. In this session, our panel of experts will discuss what strategies, tactics, and tools have taken them to the top of the twitosphere.

I think it would be interesting if you had one “old school” Twitter (who signed up in 2006 or 2007) and gradually built up a solid following along with one of these newly popular Twitterers who’ve created followings of 50,000 people in two months. The contrast between building up a network slowly over time versus using Auto-Following or bots would be an interesting contrast. I have my opinions about this but clearly they are both successful in creating large groups of followers.
